I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Mississippi, and a fellow at the Johns Hopkins Net Zero Industrial Policy Lab. I received my PhD in Political Science from the University of California Berkeley in August 2025. I was formerly a pre-doctoral fellow with the Boston University Global Development Policy Center (2022-2024).
I research the political economy of renewable energy investment and development. My book project uses mixed-methods analysis to evaluate how firm ownership in the solar industry shapes renewable energy regulatory reform in low-and-middle income countries.
This work has been generously funded by the UC Institute for Global Conflict and Cooperation, the UC Berkeley Institute for International Studies, Network for a New Political Economy, and American Political Science Association.
