I am a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. I research the international political economy of renewable energy investment. My dissertation project maps the determinants and political consequences of solar energy investment in the Global South.
I am an Assistant Director at the Berkeley APEC Study Center, a member of the Energy and Environment Policy Lab, and a pre-doctoral fellow at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center (2022-2024). My work has been generously funded by the UC Institute for Global Conflict and Cooperation, the UC Berkeley Institute for International Studies, Network for a New Political Economy, and American Political Science Association. Prior to pursuing graduate studies, I received a B.A. from the University of Georgia in Economics and International Affairs (2017).
