I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Mississippi, and a fellow at the Johns Hopkins Net Zero Industrial Policy Lab. I received my PhD in Political Science from the University of California Berkeley in August 2025. I was formerly a pre-doctoral fellow with the Boston University Global Development Policy Center (2022-2024).
I research the political economy of renewable energy investment and development. My book project uses mixed-methods analysis to evaluate how firm ownership in the solar industry shapes renewable energy regulatory reform in low-and-middle income countries.
My work has been published in the Review of International Political Economy, Urban Affairs Review, and the Journal of Urban Affairs. This research has been generously funded by the UC Institute for Global Conflict and Cooperation, the UC Berkeley Institute for International Studies, Network for a New Political Economy, and American Political Science Association.
